South wins 96-92

Eric Nordrum led the way with 19 points for the south squad in the victory

The North Squad came out smoking in the first half behind the inside presence of Drew Bobb (Paint Valley) and Will Besonen (Unioto) Anchored by the two postmen the North squad built a 17 point lead midway through the first half. Both Bobb and Besonen scored 11 points in the first half will Bryce Raney (Hillsboro) chipped in 7.

The South squad was able to stay within striking distance in the first half mainly because of the solid play of 6'8" Eric Nordrum (Valley). Nordrum lead the South squad with 10 points in the half. The North lead 46-37 at half. In the second half the guard play of the South squad took over. Cory Chamberlin (Wheelersburg) scored 11 of his 14 points and Kyle Vulgamore (Piketon) scored 10 of his 15 points in the second half while Eric Nordrum poured in another 9 points.. The South squad exploded for 58 second half points to pull out the victory, 96-92. Erik Marting (Miami Trace) and Mike Angles (Westfall) tried to hold off the South attack and lead for the North Squad with 11 points and 9 points respectively in the second half.
